Rupertsland Institute’s Shakamohta is back! Shakamohta is a show all about connecting students with Métis community members making waves across a variety of careers, hobbies and fields. In this month’s episode, Métis athlete Thomas Froberg serves as co-host and guest on today’s episode as he and Jory chat about the 2023 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) and his subsequent time as a MacEwan University Griffin playing volleyball at the university level. Then Thomas’s teammate, Jackson McGillivray, joins him for a conversation on their athletic journeys and experiences as Métis members of Team Alberta’s volleyball team at NAIG 2023.
