The call of God covers every area of human existence, including that of the warrior—called to train, to discipline, to a noble cause. Biblically the power of armies is linked to the warrior's resolve, God's mark upon them the warrior's calling.   The Lord Himself is commander both of spiritual armies and human battles. His will is to install righteous rule. And then to defend it. He alone defines both war and peace and for every righteous cause it is He who teaches hands to war. He is strength for the warrior's heart in battle, He gives the defender wisdom and divine counsel… when to avoid battle, when to boldly engage. In the U.S. and beyond, this is a time of solemn opportunity.
