Today on the podcast I’m joined by reigning Nike Cross Nationals Champion, Addy Ritzenhein!
Addy is a jr. At Niwot high school in Colorado and holds personal bests of 10:09 in the 3200m, 16:44 in the cross country 5k and 9:17 in the 3000m.
She broke out on the scene of high school running when she won NXN in 2023 as a sophomore and led her team to a 2nd place finish by one point.
She went on to win the Gatorade National Girls Cross country player of the year as she excelled on the grass and in the classroom.
In this episode Addy and I discuss the after math of winning a national title, her time in Paris Watching the Olympic Games, how her dad has had an impact on her running and more.
