The Arc of Attrition is billed as the toughest 100 mile ultra in the UK. Being part of the checkpoint 'Arc Angels' team at the 39 mile mark gave me a unique insight into the runners and how they coped with running for upwards of 36 hours on the coastal path daily in the dark, in the winter.
