Listen "Episode 46: Jeffrey Stern Smiles Widest When the Terrain is Technical"
Episode Synopsis
This week we’re talking to Jeffrey Stern, a professional runner for Salomon, dog dad, coach, freelance writer, and marketing consultant. Jeffrey grew up in Marin and still thinks of the Bay Area as home even though he is now ripping it up on the trails and roads in Santa Barbara. Jeffrey spent 2020 consistently training and shaping himself into an ultra runner who is ready to have breakthrough races at some of the biggest races in the country this year. He recently smashed the unsupported FKT on the 42-mile Los Padres Traverse as a part of training for Black Canyon 100k. Jeffrey shares his mental and physical training trips, how he balances his life, and how rowdy, adventurous races like The Dipsea and Mount Marathon inspired him to pursue trail running professionally. Jeffrey’s passion is infectious. We dare you to listen to this episode and not smile!
