Happy New Year! This week's guest is Bijan Mazaheri, a runner for Cal Coast Track Club, graduate of Williams College, and Massachusetts native who qualified for the 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials by running 2:15:26 at the 2019 Chicago Marathon.
Bijan was an 8-time DIII All-American while at Williams and is currently pursuing his PhD at Caltech. We talked about his buildup, how he balances training with his studies, and his love for the Mandalorian. (speaking of - we spent about 5 minutes on the show near the top of the pod - don't worry; there are no spoilers!). He was joined by cohosts Jeff Seelaus and Cole Townsend for a spirited episode full of great long-run talk!
