Listen "“Living as the Children of God” (1 John 2:28-3:10)"
Episode Synopsis
We are all born into a world in rebellion against God. The Bible calls this sin. To our own detriment, we put our own desires ahead of God’s. But by God’s grace, we can be reborn into a new family if we place our faith in Jesus. What does it mean to be part of this family? As part of RUF’s Fall 2020 sermon series, “That You May Know,” Campus Minister Nick Bratcher unpacks from 1 John 2:28-3:10 that children of God have a different disposition toward their old rebellion and sin. This is because of their optimism, orientation, and operation.
