Listen "Reformation Sunday"
Episode Synopsis
Reformation Sunday
504 years ago, Martin Luther started the Protestant Reformation by nailing 95 theses, or complaints, to the door of his local church in northern Germany. That sparked events that profoundly changed the course of western history. But is the Reformation still relevant today? This Reformation Sunday, Pastor Mark will preach about the truth of salvation by grace through faith that brought the church back to the clear Word of God found within the Bible.
In Romans 1:16-17, Paul longs to visit Rome so that he can share the Gospel. He declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed— a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’” As those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ – let us boldly share this Good News, as well!
