Listen "S01 Episode 3 | Breaking Down Perfectionism "
Episode Synopsis
Perfectionism is:
~ Procrastination, not being able to start or perform a task unless you can do it perfectly
~ Viewing the end outcome as the most important part of any task or routine
~ Finding fault and being overly critical with mistakes
Perfectionism leaves no room for failure, there is no plan b or "what if" options. It's why focusing on being perfect is often short lived because you crash under pressure, fear of failure, or insecurity.
Consistency can be thought of as growth overall, long term vision. Consistency plans for human nature, which is failure and things not going to plan. This focus is more on the journey, more on the long term places you want to be. Long-term being relative, it could be months or years in the future, its really up to you to determine.
This is the growth mindset that I want you to work on. Having this mindset of consistency over perfection is one facet of an overall state of confidence
