In this two-part series, Rotations welcomes Jesse Ehrenfeld, M.D., Professor of Anesthesiology, Surgery, Biomedical Informatics and Health Policy at Vanderbilt University’s School of Medicine and Director of Vanderbilt’s Program for LGBTI Health.

In part one, Dr. Ehrenfeld introduces a holistic approach to LGBTI patient care. The discussion includes best practices for talking with LGBTI patients and working with patients who are in the process of a gender identity transition.
