A woman who has dedicated more than twenty years as a foster care mother has launched a foundation calling on the community to help impact children within the foster care system. Karen Bowen has fostered more than 300 children and is the owner and CEO of NEKKTS Step Hope Foundation. In this episode we hear a firsthand story about the impact this system has had on one of Bowen's children, the stigma and how the community can help.
