Listen "Ep 45 Interview w/ Jen @ Grass Fed Skin: How do we navigate the tension between Western & Eastern Medicine?"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome Back to Nuanced Beauty!
INTERVIEW EPISODE
Today I chatted with Jennifer, the owner of Grass Fed Skin, a local Jacksonville skin care line that harnesses the goodness of beef tallow to take care of our skin. Before we dive into her company, we explore the question: How do you navigate the tension between Western/acute medicine and an Eastern/holistic approach? She shares her professional experience within occupational therapy for over a decade, alongside her upbringing and intuition guiding her toward a more natural approach to living and health as her family grew. She shares some practical advice on making one swap at a time if you are new to this mindset and trying to limit environmental toxins.
We then dive into how her business got started, the benefits of using beef tallow on our skin, and some of the products she carries (anti-aging face cream) and is looking forward to launching soon (deodorant)
Jennifer has an Etsy shop, as well as her website: www.mygrassfedskin.com
And you can follow her on Instagram to learn more or send her a DM with questions: @grassfedskin
