One vital function of a worldview is that it provides unity to thought and life. It helps us make sense of our world. Unity forms around coherent thoughts. Truth coheres, while lies create philosophical fault lines. We are witnessing this right now in our public policy debates around the area of human sexuality. The Left is entrenched in the irrational, unscientific and theologically twisted lie that men can become women. Therefore, they can and must be able to compete in women sports. Thankfully, both parents and the larger public aren't buying it! And equally important, they aren't voting for it.
