Hogen Sensei has been practicing Zen since the 1970's, studying with Philip Kapleau before taking Daido Roshi as his teacher. He received dharma transmission from Shugen Roshi in 2016 as a lay teacher. He travels to Zen Mountain Monastery to teach during fall and spring ango.
