In this episode of Rollin’ with Ray, you will meet the incredible Jeff Gibson. Jeff grew up in Dallas, Texas where he graduated from Carter high school. He was a 3-year varsity letterman in basketball, receiving all-state honors his senior year. Jeff earned a basketball scholarship to Western Texas College and he received his Associate degree in Science. He then went on and played college basketball at Dallas Baptist University and received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2006, he was diagnosed with heart disease and in 2017, Jeff was a recipient of a heart transplant. After 30 years working with the city of Dallas Parks and Recreation department as a Recreation supervisor, Jeff retired but still works part time for the city of Irving. He will describe how he overcame his adversity due to his new heart transplant. Come and follow along his journey!
