Football tryouts begin in earnest, where Davey tries to prove himself and Yoshiko tries to protect Davey.  Celeste looks on from the bleachers, offering support and working through messy old feelings.  Across town, Giger and Kim recover from their disastrous encounter with Kurozakura and discuss future plans of attack.  They can't take too long, though: Kim has an appointment with a certain shapeshifting alien...
