Every believer is invited to join this mission through words and acts of mercy, as defined by Jesus.2. Radical Dependence: Jesus sends the disciples out with minimal resources, teaching them to rely on Him rather than their own strength. The Feeding of the 5,000 illustrates this—when the disciples offer their small portion of five loaves and two fish, Jesus multiplies it to feed thousands, showing that ministry thrives on faith and availability, not abundance.3. Revealing Jesus: Ministry reflects Jesus’ life—taken, blessed, broken, and given. As we participate, our lives take on this same pattern, becoming a message of Christ’s love to the world.
