History of robot The first robot was the unimate created in new jersey at nineteen fifty-three by George Devol and Joseph Engelberger. 2. Definition of robotics the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. 3. Difference between machine and robot A Machine is a device that can make repeatedly motions or tasks and the Robot is a smart device that can do all that the machine do and more, also can be reprogramed to do another different task. 4. Write the laws of robots · First Law A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. · Second Law A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. · Third Law A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law. 6.
