Psalm 8:1-9
God’s name is excellent because He is excellent. He is personal and sovereign, glorious above the heavens, victorious over His enemies, the Creator of all things, compassionate toward mankind, and the One who has crowned man with honor. Everywhere we look in creation and in redemption we see His greatness, and His name deserves to be lifted high in all the earth.
