From Erica : "Three months before the pandemic I decided to launch a food business in a new city, and move in with a stranger I met off Kijiji. Little did I know my entire life was about to change. We’ve gone through so many hurdles with the business but we’re still here. I’m learning everyday.
Yeah, I’m almost 30. I don’t have a salary.
My credit score is terrifying (truly ), and I have two roommates.
But I’m living a life I’ve dreamed of and have felt pure joy on more days than not.
It’s hard, but I’m so incredibly fulfilled. I wouldn’t trade a single thing.I’m grateful for every single person who’s crossed my path during this journey and for the ones who’ve been by my side. It takes a village. The only limitations a person has is the ones they put on themselves. We can do hard things."
