Egypts first plague was the turning of water into blood. A warning of the final Plague of Passover to come: the Death of the Firstborn.
Yeshua’s first miracle was the turning of water into wine (blood). A beckoning to His future crucifixion on the Passover.
But while Pharaoh's firstborn would die in vain. God’s firstborn would die for the sins of Israel who had His blood on their doorposts.
And with this all: Yeshua has the face of both Mercy and Judgment. Mercy to those with His redemptive blood on their doorposts. Judgment to those who will face Him at the ever-approaching Second Coming.
