Listen "Feelings aren't facts"
Episode Synopsis
Feelings aren't facts. I've said it before, and I'll say it again.I "felt" gross today. I "felt" sore. I "felt" like I wasn't going to be able to start my race, let alone finish it. Even after I started, I "felt" like I might need to drop out. Then I told myself to take one more step and see. Then I ran a little. Walked a little. Completed an obstacle. Then started that process over. Eventually, I knew I would finish, even if it was ugly.I didn't need that race. But I committed, and giving up without pushing the limits would simply ingraine into my mind that it's okay to quit because I don't feel like doing something. There's no chance I could have competed at a high level in that condition. But that isn't what that race was for. It was there to show me if I had the balls to keep going. We all have that in us. It just needs to be developed. I can help with that 😉.No excuses!
