When you look at the history of just about any civilization, you’ll find that they almost always have some type of social division.  It may be based on wealth or status, or on some personal characteristic, but it’s a clear way to divide people into groups.  Today, Pastor Dan explains that first-century Roman society had very strictly defined divisions.  And yet the Christians crossed all of those barriers because of their unity in Jesus.  When you are in Christ, every Christian is your brother or sister.  Period.
