Nick Franklin talks to Dr Lee Duffield about the closure of local and regional newspapers by the Murdoch press, and the future of journalism. They discuss the possibilities of a changing media landscape for local journalism and for journalists, and the rise of independent media.
Duffield is a media editor for Independent Australia.
