Listen "A conversation with Local Member Trish Doyle on Rights, Rorts and Rants"

Episode Synopsis

Trish Doyle offers her first hand perspectives  as Nick Franklin follows up on an earlier interview with Trish. He asks about the big question of how Government is responding to last summer's bushfire crisis.  Trish explains an important amendment to bushfire legislation she achieved to ensure a review every 3 months as to how government is meeting report recommendations.
The interview also covers state and local issues including  Blue Mountains housing, pork barrelling spending, gaps in mental health services including youth mental health and the tragedy of youth suicides .... when services are just not adequate.
"I am determined to fight this with our firies, Fire and Rescue, every inch of the way.  It's not just an extra truck. It's the crews that are needed for that truck. It's the jobs in our community." Trish Doyle.
