Today's episode is a special one. We got to interview dLCV Senior Advocate, Julie Triplett, all about transition services from school to adulthood. Julie shares with us all about the process of accessing transition services, how to get connected to the Department of Aging and Rehabilitation Services and the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (links below). Julie mentions a whole guidebook dLCV created that can be accessed on our website (link below). We get a lot of calls and questions about accessing these services, when to begin transition services (age 14!) and what life can look like when leaving public school.
