This week, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with one of my former teammates from Texas A&M Track and Cross Country. Cooper Cawthra and I were teammates in College Station for four years, and I always knew he had a different type of mindset than the typical student-athlete. As we both got through the toughest parts of college together, Cooper continued to stay motivated. He is now #1 all-time in school history in the indoor mile and has even bigger things to look forward to. Coop and I dive into how we first met as teammates four years ago during COVID, while also discussing his journey from being a non-recruited walk-on coming out of high school.
