Episode Synopsis

This week on the Rick Flynn Presents podcast: A 100% true and very touching story of a most talented man, Dad, husband, and singer who has enjoyed success, in both the UK as well as the USA's recording artists charts, and he is UK singing sensation MICHAEL ARMSTRONG. We are going to cover a lot of ground in this presentation but among the light-hearted topics will be the brand-new 5 song EP entitled "Gender Neutral - Volume One." Gender Neutral Vol 1 is a collection of Michael’s interpretations of classic hits most associated with female artists. The very first new single from this EP is Michael's very own remake of the classic Madonna hit from 1980 called "True Blue." Please check out the accompanying music video on YouTube at no charge and purchase one or all of the five-song collection wherever music is sold and/or downloaded.
Singer songwriter MICHAEL ARMSTRONG has used his recent recovery time from kidney cancer to complete 'Gender Neutral Vol 1', his new collection of interpretations of classic hits most associated with female artists. The first single from it is Madonna's huge 1980's hit ‘True Blue’. The track is already on the airwaves in the UK and has also had an immediate early pick up in the USA . This follows Michael's last self-penned single release, 'Each Other's Eyes' from his most recent album 'Ojai', which went to No. 1 in the USA  charts in October 2021.  The Gender Neutral Vol 1 EP also includes Michael's own versions of Hopelessly Devoted To You (Olivia Newton-John), Don’t Get Me Wrong (Chrissie Hynde/The Pretenders), The End Of The World (Skeeter Davis), and Wuthering Heights (Kate Bush).
