I was delighted to be able to grab an hour of Gary's time to chat about the role of bikes in urban mobility, the future of ebikes and of course a look back at his past and his influence on mountain biking.
It was a genuine pleasure to chat with such a lovely guy whose passion for bikes has not diminished one bit over the many decades he's been a pioneer in the mtb industry. 
Gary doesn't pull any punches when holding politicians to account for a lack of cycling infrastructure and his attitude is more akin to a young idealist than a guy in his seventies.
