The risk of cardiovascular diseases among patients with rheumatoid arthritis goes beyond just heart attacks and strokes. Findings of a large cohort study revealed that patients with RA were at a higher risk of developing aortic stenosis—either by needing an aortic valve intervention or aortic stenosis-related death.
