Dearly beloved, Gods ultimate desire is not to use us and dispose us afterwards like disposable cups.  He wants to work with us as co-labourers with Him. There is a very strong difference between God using a man and God working with a man. This is the difference: God can use anything for His glory. He could use a stone to worship Him, He once used a donkey to rebuke a prophet, oh yes, He also used a fish to pay the tax of our Lord. Note however that, the donkey used by God to rebuke the prophet did not become a prophetic donkey. It was a temporary, momentary use. God can use anything temporarily or momentarily to accomplish His purpose and plan.  But much more than that, He wants to work with His people. Before He can work with you, He would first work in you so that you can be a vessel fit for the master’s use.  The resurrected savior could not work with His own disciples until He first worked within them. In Mark 16:14 – He worked in them by rebuking their unbelief and the hardness of their heart and thereafter sent them out to the field to do His work. Verse 20 tells us that and they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord WORKING with them and confirming the word through the accompany signs.
