Numbers 25:1-3:While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with Moabite women, who invited them to the sacrifices to their gods. The people ate the sacrificial meal and bowed down before these gods. So Israel yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor. And the Lord’s anger burned against them.On their way to the promise land, the children of Israel got trapped with the sin of sexual immorality. They could not move any further. The sin of sexual immorality did not only delay their destiny, if you read further into Numbers 25, you will find out that  24,000 people died just in one day because of the sin of sexual immorality. The church of Thyatira (one of the seven churches in Asia) in the book of Revelations chapter 2, was also trapped in the sin of sexual immorality. They had good works, charity, excellent service and amazing faith but unfortunately the church  had allowed Jezebel to establish her demonic seductive system. At her command, the people committed  fornication and ate things sacrificed unto idols.  Dearly beloved, the second sin to avoid as you journey to the promise land is the sin of sexual immorality. Listen, be blessed and share with the upcoming generation. There is deliverance and freedom through the blood of Jesus Christ.
