For the second of this week's mini-episodes, I talked to film student Ethan Soo about his upcoming project, "Landmine" - a short film about a young working class woman living in Long Beach's Cambodia Town. Cambodia Town is a small stretch of city with the highest concentration of Cambodians outside of their native country and doesn't get a ton of press; so I was very interested to hear the details about the community Ethan had picked up through his project's extensive research. It was a pleasure talking to Ethan, and I'm eager to see the finished project.
