John Nelson Darby is the creator of the Rapture Doctrine in the Bible . He added it in 1827, roughly 200 years ago because he noticed how well it worked at controlling more church members . This is obviously a method of manipulation on the churches part .  How does this connect to someone going through the dark night of the soul? The two depend on  getting rid of either old or false identity of the individual. Now it seems as though society is going through a dark night of the soul .
