Listen "Results Never Lie Episode 25 : How To Use Active Questioning For Better Results"
Episode Synopsis
Basic questions are good starting points to be able to reveal information that we might not have otherwise considered before. When considering new information, it's possible to uncover a different solution than what wasn't obvious before. Rick talks about open-ended inquiries and asking better questions based on that "new" information. It's really about stacking: Being able to gain new skills by asking ourselves (and maybe those whom we are helping) the right questions. Rick defines Active Questioning: Thinking of yourself as an explorer and look for the actions that create the results we really want. Sometimes we need questions to peel back the layers, see what occurred and then proceed with different actions. The goal is to be in a discovery process to reveal the solutions we are looking for.
