Listen "Episode 133: CEDIA’s Mandy Beckner on Tech Training Best Practices"
Episode Synopsis
On this week’s podcast, Mandy Beckner joins us from Fairfax, VA, where she is vice president of education and training at CEDIA. Last week, in honor of International Women’s Day, CEDIA partnered with the Women in Consumer Technology group to provide educational opportunities to women throughout the smart home industry. In the partnership announcement, Mandy who in addition to her role at CEDIA is also a board member for the Women in Consumer Technology group, said that the goal of the partnership was to inspire everyone in the industry to level up their careers through CEDIA education and certification and to provide opportunities to level the playing field within the industry. Our guest began her tenure with CEDIA almost a year and half ago after serving 20 years in educational leadership roles with AVIXA, the association that runs the InfoComm trade show. On the podcast, we learn more about Mandy’s career path and what initiatives she’s helping bring to CEDIA training and education.Today’s episode of Residential Tech Talks is brought to you Nice, a global manufacturer of smart home, security, and building automation solutions.
