Listen "Fear & Friendship"
Episode Synopsis
The more you've been hurt, the more difficult building healthy, viable friendships becomes. Wounds of the past hinder us from giving others the chance to know anything remotely personal about the depth of pain we've encountered and its effects within our minds and actions. We then settle for shallow acquaintances rather than meaningful friendships. Why? The fear of being known isn't worth the risk of rejection. In this episode, we discuss the difficult road that Anthony has had to navigate to overcome wounds inflicted by so-called-friends throughout his past, so he could take the risk of being known by other men.Connect with RM:FaceBook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/renovatingmasculinityWebsite: https://www.renovatingmasculinity.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/renovatingmasculinityTwitter: https://twitter.com/renomasculinitySee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
