Episode Synopsis
Episode seven- Single Again! Stable, Secure and Successful! Tip seven: Avoiding Stalking Behavior!
Whooooaaaa did you say STALKING??!! Yes we actually went there - Linda and Rachel talk about how to avoid Stalking behavior, and we aren’t just talking about someone stalking you! When you hear Stalking it sounds pretty sinister doesn’t it? But stalking can come up pretty innocently and sometimes we might slip into it without realizing it. Linda and Rachel talk about ways that they may have slipped into stalking behavior unknowingly. This conversation sheds light on a few covert ways one might slip into this pattern and why we should avoid doing it. As you become Single Again we need to stay in check and be accountable for our own behavior to make sure we aren’t crossing the line. During this transition it can become confusing, it literally is unraveling of what life was to a new normal of having separate lives. Rachel and Linda also discuss what new healthy boundaries might look like to keep a healthy space for where you end and someone else begins.
Journaling Prompts:
Take a moment to take an honest inventory of your life, what are some behaviors that you might be crossing the line in wanting more information about what your ex is up to now that you have become single again?
What is coming up for me? What emotions am I experiencing? What is my part in all this? What is the payoff for this behavior? What is it costing you or others in your inner circle by doing it?
What boundaries can you create that would be healthy for you to create around this topic? What support do you need to keep you accountable? Who can help you with accountability?
