Listen "A Renegade Conversation with Dr. Mayann Francis - The Summer Road Trip Edition"
Episode Synopsis
Join Dr. Mayann Francis and I as we talk about barriers broken, her strategic mindset and the many firsts she accomplished in her distinguished career. Season Two, Episode 13 of Renegade Conversations.
My guest today was the first African Nova Scotian and second woman to be appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. She is the second African Canadian to be appointed Lieutenant Governor in Canada. I have admired the Honourable Dr. Mayann Francis from afar for many years. Her accomplishments are many, including many honorary degrees, service at Dalhousie University as the first Distinguished Public Service Fellow in the Faculty of Management, School of Public Administration, and more recently author of two children’s books published by Nimbus. It was a real honour to have Dr. Francis as a guest on this episode of Renegade Conversations.
