A resurrected king, a holy wind, and flaming tongues of gospel witness—that’s how the church of God was born, and it’s how the church continues still. For like the earliest Christians in the book of Acts, the church today has the same faith in Jesus, the same Holy Spirit, and the same mission to proclaim the kingdom of God. And just as their lives give us snapshots of the heart of God to save the world, so our lives must do the same for everyone we encounter: neighbors, enemies, family, or friends—everyone is invited to come to Christ.
