Friends, the verse of the week is Ephesians 2:8-9, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
In this episode Raizel and Xenia discuss the greatest gift we’ve ever been given - salvation! So many people think that they need to be perfect, or clean themselves up before they can be loved by the Lord, but this could not be further from the truth. God gave his one and only Son for you, not because you earned salvation, but because he loves YOU. Salvation cannot be earned because it is impossible for us to measure up to the holiness of God! The gift of salvation always points to the goodness of our God, not the goodness of his people. We hope this episode encourages you to stop striving to be “good enough for God” and enjoy the truth that you are loved not for what you can do, but because of who he is!
