A church gathering involves a consistent structure, the things that we repeatedly do. Each week we pray, sing, give, study, and respond. Each element connects the reality of our humanity with heaven. It’s more than a routine, but the gathering is in fact a microcosm of the life we were created for. Its function is to allow us to participate in and experience the eternal kingdom of God. In this collection of conversations, we’re double-clicking on each segment of a church service to better understand why we do what we do, and how the structure serves the function. We’ll make space to learn and to practice together, and we hope that you’ll join us in the process.
