Leadership in vet med (and globally) is male-dominated and homogeneous. But vet med and animal welfare are predominately female. Why aren't more women securing leadership roles and what is the cost to women in these professions if their views, ideas and needs aren't being represented at the leadership level?    In this episode I speak to Dr. Jenni Rizzo, emergency veterinarian and founder of Lone Star Veterinary Academy.
