If you have topic ideas for our podcast or want to reach Michelle, send us a text! We'd love to hear from you!MORE FOCUS AND PRODUCTIVITY HACKS:1.      Take walk breaks every 60-90 minutes – stopping from a big project in intervals of 60-90 minutes can recharge you and refresh you. These breaks can trigger an onset of endorphins that will renew zeal, especially with projects that keep you seated too long. Even a 10-20 minute walk can increase brain activity, boost our immune system and increase cognitive function.2.      Evaluate length of meetings – One client approached me in frustration about attending so many long meetings. She could not keep up with her projects or complete her deskwork. We discovered that most of the 1-hour meetings she attended only required her insights for 5-10 minutes, at most. She was given permission to appear for allocated time slots and it immediately resolved her issue. (Who in the world said we needed to have 1-hour meetings anyways?)3.      Hold standing or walking meetings – Both types of meetings will keep attendees focused, interactive and on point. Not to mention, awake. Great thinkers like Steve Jobs, Harry Truman, Sigmund Freud, Aristotle and Charles Dickens swore by them. The additional benefits that result in these types of meetings have a multitude of benefits, such as better health, higher morale and increased creativity, to name just a few.Excerpts and insights* from Chapter 9 of "Your Journey to Greatness Through Routine: A Guide to Creating a Success Routine" Book Contains:7 Actual Case Studies8 Downloadable ToolsAssessment Questions at the End of Each ChapterThe Brain Science Behind HabitsRetraining Your Brain Through Cognitive RestructuringHeart Science, Energy and the Law of AttractionPowerful Principles of Influence and GreatnessTips and Tools to Build Your Success Routine*Certain portions have been added to actual book excerpts by the author.  LEARN MORE AND PURCHASE THE BOOK at http://michellesteffes.com/bookSupport the showMichelle L Steffes is a Certified Speaker, Corporate Trainer, Executive Coach and Author of two books: "Reframe & Rewire" (also available on Audible) and "The Machine Inside Me."
