Listen "THE VIEW FROM HERE"
Episode Synopsis
I used to hear that a lot when I ministered on the streets of New York City, Kiev and other places. And it sounds good, at first. It sounds strong, independent, individualistic, post-modern and even possibly attractive. Except for one thing. Someone who says that is really saying "I'm not interested in what TRUE. I only acknowledge what suits ME!" And frankly, the truth seldom suits us. They're like Pontius Pilate, who said, "What is truth?" and turned away before Jesus could give an answer. (John 18:38) For that reason, many reject the One who said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6) What we want to believe is, unfortunately for many, irrelevant. What, or Who, is True is the only eternal issue.
