Listen "Reflection 80"
Episode Synopsis
This time we start considering the 9th Psalm. I need to start with a clarification. When I say "Neither Isaac nor Joseph did actually die", meant Isaac didn't die on Mount Moriah in Gen. 22, and Joseph didn't die when his father thought he had in Genesis 37. Both of them did, eventually, die. We mention the connection between praise and testimony, describe "evang-elastically speaking", and mention God's "marvelous works." The relationship between conscience and conduct, , being glad in the Lord, SINGING praise to God versus the "entertainment & audience" model we see so often. We conclude this with a look at the significance of calling God the "most high", and consider receiving help from the ungodly. It's at www.reflections.libsyn.com, and I look forward to the comments of those who listen. Blessings!
