Sport is everywhere. From a local youth club to a national team competing on a global stage, superstar athletes to superfans, sport is a part of our society and culture like nothing else. And so, it’s the ideal platform from which to help shape a sustainable future.

In this first episode of Re:Energise, host Meghann Scully is joined by two expert guests: Sean McCabe, Head of Climate Justice and Sustainability at Bohemian Football Club, and Oscar Carolan, sustainability consultant and co-founder of Green & Blueprints. They look at how we can use the world of sport to advocate for, and implement, significant changes in sustainability. From work with youth sports clubs and Leinster Rugby, through to the initiatives of Bohemians Football Club, Oscar and Sean highlight innovative initiatives, practical solutions, and the pivotal role sports can play in creating a more sustainable future.
