Listen "Brendon McCullum : Touching Greatness"
Episode Synopsis
This episode I was lucky enough to sit down with New Zealand and World cricket icon Brendon McCullum. Brendon represented the Black Caps from 2002-2016 playing 101 Tests, 260 ODI's and 71 T20 internationals. He was also the first Kiwi to score a triple Test century when on the 18th of February 2014 he played an innings that stopped the nation. During this podcast we get a "Reel" look into the life of a true great of the game of cricket. We discuss what it was like to become the first Kiwi to score 300, his captaincy style, scoring 156* in the opening game of the IPL, implementing the ramp shot vs Shaun Tait. We also discuss the recent successes of our world champion Black Caps test side, importance of having a plan, setting out to inspire a generation in the 2015 Cricket World Cup, why he retired when he did and so much more.
