John Wenzel is an A&E journalist and Critic-at-Large for The Denver Post who has contributed reviews and features to Esquire, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone and Vulture. He is the author of the nonfiction book "Mock Stars" and has had essays published in music, horror, and comedy anthologies. He lives in Denver with his family, a Hobbit garden, and a half dozen overworked gaming consoles.
