KillZen is a collaborative effort of two electronic musicians, Abhishek Chaturvedi & Anannya Gupta, who came together to create an immersive journey into a dark futuristic dystopian fantasia of their own where dreams crossfade with reality. “We make music which is emotional, retrospective, entrancing and in a world of its own. Music which tries to capture the complexities and nuances of the human emotion spectrum”. “Soundtracking moments and emotions which words fail to express. From the charged and aggressive rhythms that bodies move to in dark rooms, to the deep pensive melodies for when lost in thoughts, or for when nothing seems right, an escape to the unknown, unheard, there’s a little bit of something for everyone in our world.”
Our live performance is made up of multiple synthesizers, drum machines/ sequesncers, MIDI controllers & control surfaces. Segregated on the basis of emotions we have our Kill & our Zen Sets. For when you want to let loose to dance oriented rhythms there is the kill set, designed to make you move whilst you feel barraged with an array of different feelings. For when you want to groove and be overcome with emotion, we have the Zen set, designed to connect you with yourself in ways beyond of rudimentary understanding.
